a SCENE STUDY STATE of MIND
I help the actor perfect their own technique. My approach is individually tailored; I help guide you, the actor, towards your own truth. I'm a stickler for making every moment count by getting specific about the meaning and coming up with powerful imagery to trigger that meaning; I will call you on your BS, encourage you to take risks, and support you emotionally. I help you find the melody, rhythm, and arch of the scene and ultimately help to steer you towards becoming your own director by looking at what purpose your character serves in the overarching tv episode, film, or play.
My mission is to provide a place for actors to keep practicing-- just like dancers must keep dancing, musicians, writers, painters, etc, must continue to make and use their art or else lose it, so I believe that actors need a place to act.
It's a basic Artist's Right
HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. Actors work on approximately one scene per cycle which will be handpicked just for them.
2. Each cycle is 3 weeks, one three-hour class per week. Actors are encouraged to book out for those hours if possible
3. Eight to ten actors per class
4. Ample time to delve into scenes.
5. Rehearsals outside of class are expected.
6. There will be a brief, informal meeting/audition before actors can attend class.
Who is it for?
If you are a dedicated actor who wants to level up, and whose art-hungry soul isn't sustained by a few minutes in the audition room; if you are an actor who is curious, who wants to delve into the truth of the moment and be surrounded by hard-working peers and who wants to be challenged, who wants to play, create and explore, then scene study is for you.
What is it?
This is an actor's gym for toning and sculpting your creative skills. A safe place to support your acting habit, and turn it into a lifestyle. A way to get back on track with your dreams and reaffirm your love of the craft. Play, fail and get excited about the work. Here you can keep growing towards your full potential.
Where does it come from?
Studio Bianchini is inspired by the rebelliousness and ambition of the creative scene in New York. The City is teeming with artists hell-bent on being at the top of their game, which means dedication and constant practice. Scene Study has always been part of the vibrant artistic fabric that makes up New York. I can't live without it, and I wanted to fill that hole.
