THE STRUCTURE
HOW TO A week before the start of class you will get an info pack on self-tapes which will contain advice about equipment and some tutorials and examples of what a good self-tape needs to look like.
INTRO ASSIGNMENT Then I will ask you to send in a short intro video telling us a little about yourself. I will also ask that you take a picture or film your self-tape setup. This is so that I can get to know you a little and address any technical difficulties. This is also a great way to ease stress levels around setting up for your self-tape. If you are already a pro at self-tapes, then this how you can introduce yourself to the group.
SELF TAPE From then on I will send outsides 5 days in advance and ask you to make a self-tape which is due the day before class. I will give notes for you to incorporate.
CLASS We will go over each scene in class the next day. Everyone gets a half-hour of work time. The focus will be acting for the screen.
