As actors and theatre-makers we are used to making something out of nothing. But this pandemic has been devastating when even the bare minimum of our theatre-making tools have been deemed unsafe. The art that is safe to make hardly resembles theatre. I hear a lot of people saying that this was not what they signed up for. But what can we do besides keep on creating? Each in our little way. Tending the spark. Never losing sight of what love. This is a new kind of actors-faith, keeping the embers warm until theatre returns.
